Newly promoted Ghana Premier League side, Vision FC, have outlined its long-term vision of developing young talent.
The club’s assistant coach, Hamza Obeng Mohammed, emphasised the club’s focus on nurturing players for future success rather than immediate results.
“We have our own project, our own motive, which is the development of talent and nurturing good players for successful careers in the future,” Obeng told 3 Sports.
“So, we don’t want them to expect too much, like winning the league or scoring against every team. When it comes to that, we are okay, but our motive is the development of talent and nurturing young players for the near future.”
“We always discuss this, aiming to nurture talent and develop players to excel at the highest levels—playing for the national team, senior national team, and in top European and possibly other international leagues.”
Vision will play in the top flight for the first time in the upcoming season after securing promotion last season, as they finished first in Zone III.
