Locally based Bismat Construction Limited has finally resumed work on the stalled Axim Sports Complex to execute the final phase of the project.
The project which has been abandoned since September 2023 due to lack of funds received a massive boost as contractor finally returned to the site.
Information gathered by Domesticsportsgh.com reveals that, the sports complex is expected to be complete by the end of September.
It has been estimated that Ghc18.million has been invested in the project since 2018.
The project when completed will have 5,000 seating capacity with VIP box, a 35-seater presidential box, control rooms, changing rooms for match officials, wash rooms with five cubicles each while the locker room has 26 lockers for each team.
