Dubbed” Brawire Deserves better ” is expected to hit in the principal streets of Axim clad in the red and black, there will also be singing and chanting to demand for good roads infrastructure, completion of abandoned school blocks among others in the metropolis.

According to MYP Speaker, Jonas Kabutey, he confirmed that letters have been sent to appropriate quarters including the Axim Divisional Police Command requesting for police assistance and permit.

In May, the Youth Parliament staged a massive demonstration against the government over the stalled Axim Sports complex as well as an abandoned road project at Brawire.

The demonstration quickly reached the office of the government but nothing has been done concerning the implementation despite admitting their readiness to address the issue.

The protestors have, therefore announced plans to stage another demonstration on Saturday 7, September 2024 to continue drum home their concerns until demands are met.
