Nkroful, the District Capital of Ellembelle has progressed to the final stage of the 2024 Ellembelle MP’s Cup Competition after winning their respective zone on Sunday.

The birthplace of Ghana’s first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah defeated defending Champions Teleku Bokazo 5-1 on Sunday afternoon at Teleku Bokazo New Site Park.
Emmanuel Ackah and Captain Enzo Keche led the historic community to grab 7 points from the possible 9.
Nkroful becomes the third community to qualified for the main tournament with 5 more slots to fight for in Asasetre, Awiebo, Aiyinase, Atuabo and Aiyinase North and Middle Belt zones.
The Ellembelle MP’s Cup Competition is a flagship event powered by the Member of Parliament for Ellembelle, Hon.Emmnanuel Armah Kofi Buah.
The tournament has been held every four years since the inaugural tournament in 2020.
