Nzema Akropong is on course for the double this season after beating Bomoakpole 1-0 in Tandan on Sunday to reach the round of 8 in the ongoing Ellembelle MP’s Cup.
Akropong’s impressive form in the tournament keeps them at the top of the Zone 4 ( Asasetre Zone) beating all the teams including host Tandan and zonal capital Asasetre.
UCC Youngsters goalie, Emmanuel Borzah won the best player of the Zone whiles former Karela U20 coach Chico Hazard emerged the top Scorer award with 4 goals.
Nzema Akropong will join the likes of Kamgbunli, Asemko and Nkroful for the main tournament waiting for the remaining four slots.
