Basake Holy Stars dependable midfielder Issah Yakubu has called on the fans to exercise patience for the team in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
The Basake based club are winless since match day one victory against Hearts of Oak.
With four points, Basake Holy Stars find themselves in the 10th position trailing log leaders, Medeama with five points.
Regardless of the team’s maiden campaign, it appears a section of the club supporters are unhappy with the team’s output.
However, the 31-year in an interview with the media followed by Domesticsportsgh.com has called on the fans to exercise patience for the team.
” We are a new team in the league and expectations are also high, we are working hard I believe we can bounce back, I want the fans to exercise patience because the team has not peaked yet, i know the technical team is working on us and very soon things will surely change”he said.
Basake Holy Stars will travel to the capital to face co-debutant Vision FC on Sunday in the week 5 of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.
