Basake Holy Stars are set to take on Karela United in the Ghana Premier League matchday 6 on Sunday at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park.
The epic showdown of the two clubs have been discussed heavily in the local media sake of the return of their former admirable club Karela United.
Realistically, Karela United were the landlords of the famous Crosby Awuah Memorial Park before relocating to Tamale while Holy Stars who are playing as the “Land guards” have adopted the facility since the commencement of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign.
Some section of supporters are ready to make a hooting gesture against Karela United’s coming back to the famous grounds following Haruna Iddrisu intention to move the club to his hometown after the takeover despite made known to the Nzema’s during his first visit not to move the club from Nzema Aiyinase.
The showdown has now been set for October 13 at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park on Sunday.
Supporters of both sides and entire Nzema land can’t afford to miss this fixture on Sunday.
