The upcoming game is a 2025 AFCON tie set to take place in Benghazi, Libya on the back of a goalless draw between the two teams in Accra on Thursday, October 10.

Sudan survived a dominant performance by Ghana in the second half punctuated by several missed chances by the Black Stars. Ghana head coach Otto Addo stated that Sudan got lucky.

In an interview with Sudan media, the former head coach of the Black Stars assured fans of Sudan of a win over Ghana in Libya.

“We played against Ghana; yeah it was a difficult game but we managed to fight and get a draw. We are now going to play the return leg in Benghazi, it’s not going to be easy but Insha Allah, we are going to fight and make sure we get a victory for Sudan.”

Ahead of the game, Sudan ranks second in Group F with four points while Ghana ranks third with two points from three games. Scroll down to watch of James Kwasi Appiah promising a win over the Black Stars.
