The Confederation of Africa Football ( CAF) released the 2022-23 audited Financial Report and 2024-25 budget at the 46th CAF Ordinary Assembly held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on Tuesday, 22 October, 2024.
CAF President Dr.Patrice Motsepe chaired the 46th CAF Ordinary Assembly.
The football governing body achieved a significant financial turnout in the 2022/2023 fiscal year, with a remarkable loss reduction from USD 28.9 million to USD 9.2 million.
The CAF deficit was USD 45 million a year before. This continued positive development is primary attributed to the strategic reforms implemented by the CAF management in 2021.
From the budgeted revenues in 2024, CAF is projecting a net profit of $11.7 million- for the time in a long time.
This financial health will enable CAF to deliver on its mandate of developing football in Africa.
