Crosby Awuah Memorial Park which has an estimated capacity of 4,000 stands recorded massive turnout in the crucial game played last Sunday.

Both teams shared the bragging right after pulsating 1-1 draw in week 8 of the ongoing 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign.

The Porcupine Warriors shot into the lead after 36th minute on the clock through a brilliant game played by Albert Amoah.

The Basake based club recovered from the shock and deservedly hit back courtesy Prince Tweneboah in the 81st minute.

The Unbeatable Boys fought for the draw to end Kotoko’s winless streak thanks to Prince Tweneboah’s equalizer in the game which looked destined for defeat before a 93% sell out crowd.

It was recorded attendance at the Crosby Awuah Memorial this particular season for Holy Stars.

However, a breakdown from the account office highlighted a huge sum of money went into taxes and percentage deductions by associated bodies including the Ghana Football Association (GFA) GHALCA (Ghana League Clubs Association) and Western Regional Football Association (WRFA).

The research also stated that some amount also went directly into the maintenance of the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park.
