Jonas Kabutey, the Municipal Youth Parliament Speaker of the Evalue Ajomoro Gwira Municipality has criticized the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for 2024 General Elections Hon.Catherine Ablema Afeku for poor governance, massive interferences, which he claims has plunged the municipal into an economic crisis and the delayed of the controversial Axim Sports Complex and Brawire town road.
He stated that the current situation of the Axim Sports Complex has been delayed due to the influence and selfish interest of the former Tourism Minister.
In an exclusive interview played on West End Radio which was monitored by Domesticsportsgh.com on Monday, Kabutey stated that, Evalue Ajomoro Gwira is not well developed because of the mismanagement inflicted by the former Member of Parliament.
He argue that, he has all the necessary documents and evidence on why she blocked the continuation of the Axim Sports Complex.
” I am not being politically motivated but this is the hard truth, how can one person hijack the district, the municipal has not seen any development after she was overthrown out as MP, because she and Eric Essien have connived or in the name of their selfish interests.
” I can mention Prof Nokoe, Hon Dorcas ( former MCE) were denied access to continue their work as leaders of this constituency, Especially Prof Nokoe who she manipulated his appointment as Ghana Gas CEO, this is not fair…it’s high time we should let her knows the Evalue Ajomoro Gwira is not hers…Why is that We have been waiting all this years but with a few days to election, you and the government want to commission something which is under construction all because of sympathy votes just to let people knows she lobbied for it, some executives of the youth parliament refused to join the demonstration all because of her influence, this time I am ready and can boldly said she is a political scandal and reason why Axim Sports Complex is delayed”.
What is the state of the fishing harbour, Sea defence project…all have abandoned just because of her” Kabutey revealed.
“A political scandal, selfish and wicked woman as well. She is so greedy, pretender and not ready to pave ways for Evalue Gwira Ajomoro Development, I am ready to face her anywhere, we can even end up in court ” he added.
Axim Sports Complex still not completed while over GHC18 million has gone in since 2018.
