Top striker of Karela United, Majeed Fuseini, has expressed confidence in Nurudeen Adamu‘s capability of moving the club forward.
Karela United recently secured the services of the seasoned Ghanaian coach, Nurudeen Adamu, after he resigned from his position as head coach of FC Samartex, whom he led to league triumph in the 2023-24 season.
“He will help us. Since he understands the native language, will make work easy… We held a very intensive training this morning. He’s made the team competitive. I hope our fortunes will turn around in the second half,” Majeed said on the Sports Pack show on Max FM.
The Northern-based club is just three points off the bottom of the Ghana Premier League standings and will hope the appointment of a former CAF Champions League coach turns things around for them in the second round of the league.
Karela will take on fellow strugglers, Nsoatreman FC, in their next match on Sunday, January 19, 2025.
