Former FC Samartex star Emmanuel Keyekeh is set to become a national of Tanzania.
Keyekeh, 27, is currently plying his trade for Singida Black Stars in the Tanzanian Premier League after leaving Samartex, where he achieved Ghana Premier League glory.
Hussen Massanza, press officer of the Black Stars, confirmed that Keyekeh submitted his passport to the Ghanaian authorities to expedite his nationality switch to Tanzania.
The creative midfielder has impressed with his on-field performances since joining the Black Star and is actually being considered for a call–up to the Tanzanian senior national team.
Other foreign nationals in the team looking to switch allegiance to Tanzania are Arthur Bada (Ivory Coast), Damaro Mohamedi (Guinea), and Amas Obasogie (Nigeria).
