Nzema Kotoko head coach Stephen Abugri, has confirmed that they have recruited 10 new players during the January transfer deadline day.
The experienced gaffer indicated that he believes in quality more than quantity in relation to player transfers.
He said this in an exclusive interview with West End Radio Hard Tackle show concerning the current state of the club.
Abugri revealed that, most of the old players have been sacked to pave ways for new players ahead of the remaining games in the 2024/25 Division One League season.
” In fact we have been strengthen our team with new faces, I can confidently tell you that, we have able to secure about 10 quality players, mostly made up of Ghana Premier League and Division One League standard”, Abugri said.
” I have strong believe in the team now and I can tell you that Nzema Kotoko will rise and avoid relegation” he added.
Nzema Kotoko is billed to play host to Beposu Asekem on Saturday in the match-week 14 of the season.
The Ampain based club are currently lying in the 15th position on the league log with 11 points.
