Former Black Stars B forward, Sampson Eduku has expressed his excitement after completing his move to Asante Kotoko on a one-and-a-half-year contract.
The 29-year-old forward, who impressed last season with Tamale City by scoring 14 goals and providing four assists, is eager to start his journey with the Porcupine Warriors.
Reflecting on the significance of the move, Eduku said, “It feels amazing to join a club as big as Kotoko. This is a massive step in my career, and I’m fully aware of the expectations that come with playing for this great club. I’m here to work hard, score goals, and help the team achieve its ambitions.”
Eduku’s addition to the squad comes at a time when Kotoko is looking to strengthen its attacking force in the race for the Ghana Premier League title.
The striker is looking forward to competing with talented players such as Albert Amoah and Kwame Opoku, seeing it as an opportunity to elevate his game.
“I’m ready to give my best for this great club,” Eduku added, showing his commitment to making a significant impact at Kotoko as they push for success in the league.
Eduku has already played three games for Asante Kotoko in the ongoing 2024/25 Ghana Premier League Season.
