Chinese-owned pay-TV operator StarTimes will resume broadcasting the Ghana Premier League (GPL) from February, the Ghana Football Association ( GFA) has confirmed.
The announcement marks StarTimes return to Ghanaian football after losing its broadcasting rights last year due to unresolved financial issues.
Since then, the league has relied on multiple Broadcasters, including Metro TV, Original TV, Net 2 TV and AFA sports to air matches.

GFA Executive Council member, Nana Oduro Sarfo, speaking on Guide FM confirmed the development.
“StarTimes will come in February, at the moment, the GFA does not have a contract with any media house”.
StarTimes originally secured a ten-year broadcast deal worth $17.9 million in 2016 but faced contractual challenges that led to a suspension of its coverage, leaving the league without an exclusive live TV partner.
