The image of the alleged murderer of well-known fan of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Nana Pooley, known privately as Francis Yaw Frimpong, has popped up on social media.

Nana Pooley was believed to have been stabbed by a man yet to be identified during the match between Nsoatreman and Asante Kotoko.
Multiple eyewitness accounts of the violence at the Nana Kronamansah Park on Sunday, February 2, 2025, indicated that the deceased was forcefully ejected from the venue on the orders of the owner of the home team, Hon. Ignatius Baffour Awuah.
Pooley was found in a pool of blood by a tricycle rider just outside the venue. He was brought back into the venue for medical treatment, but the driver of the ambulance could not be found.
