In respect of the ongoing crisis at Nzema Kotoko Football club following the resignation of head coach Stephen Abugri, a renowned broadcaster, Eric Amofah- De Don has made an emphatic statement regarding the current state of the Nzema based club.
The club is owned and run by the Eastern Nzema Traditional Council and has struggled particularly to remain relevant in the ongoing campaign.
The club has been suffocating under financial stress and poor results leading the club to the relegation zone with just 11 points.
Addressing the issue on Nzema based West End Radio’s Hard Tackle Sports, Eric Amofah popularly called “De Don” openly said the close associates of the club should consider selling the club for better purposes.

” My advice to the club is very simple, they should sell the club, enough is enough because things are not going well”.
“It’s better to put the club for sale to escape this shame and it’s also a shame to call this club a traditional team” Amofah said.
“Riquelme, whoever is in charge should tell Awuale to sell the club, because they cant continue with such attitudes, I am advising them to do so” he added.
Nzema Kotoko club have hired over 18 coaches since 2016, making them one of the clubs with the hottest seat in the second tier football.
The club is currently languishing 15th position on the league log with 11 points after 17 games.
