The Crosby Awuah Memorial Park is currently in a very deplorable state which has caused football lovers to tag the Aiyinase based facility as a death trap.
Crosby Awuah Memorial Park became the interim home grounds for Ghana Premier League club Basake Holy Stars during the first round of the 2024/25 League season.
However, the fans are not happy with the nature of the stadium because many of the VIP seats and roofing have worn out, posing as dead trap to the fans.
In November 2024, Basake Holy Stars moved from the Crosby Awuah Memorial to Awuale Amihere Kpanyinli Sports Arena for renovations but work has been stalled due to lack of materials leaving the place deteriorating.
Football loving fans and journalists have taken the social media to share their thoughts over the deplorable state of the Crosby Awuah Memorial in Nzema Aiyinase.
