He said this in post-game presser after Medeama beat Holy Stars 2-1 at the TNA Stadium in Tarkwa in an outstanding Ghana Premier League tie.
After suffering back to back losses to Nations FC and Samartex, Medeama have bounced back with a two game winning streak of their own by brushing aside Aduana Stars and Holy Stars but Ibrahim Tanko wasn’t pleased about conceding against Basake.
“We had a lot of chances in the first half that, minimum, we had to score two or three goals. The only thing I’m not happy [about is] that we didn’t get a clean sheet but I think in all we deserved to win [the game], we created more chances than them and I think the performance was good.”
In another outstanding Ghana League fixture, Kpando Heart of Lions lost 2-1 to Bibiani Gold Stars in Bibiani; Gold Stars replace Kumasi Asante Kotoko as league leaders.
Kotoko take on Berekum Chelsea in Kumasi on Wednesday, April 2.
