Bibiani GoldStars Chief Executive Officer has described the recent home loss to Karela United as both disappointing and shocking, as the club continues its push for the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League title.
Reflecting on the defeat, the CEO admitted that the unexpected setback forced the team to reassess its approach as the season enters a critical phase.
“We had a shock loss at home against Karela, and while it was disappointing, we understand that setbacks are part of the game. That result gave us the opportunity to pause, reflect, and understand what went wrong,” he said in an interview with Channel One TV.
Despite the slip, the CEO praised the technical team, led by head coach Frimpong Manso, for their swift response in addressing the issues exposed by the loss.
He stressed that the club remains committed to its title ambitions, with a crucial fixture against fellow contenders Asante Kotoko on the horizon.
“Football is full of surprises, but our mission is clear: win every match ahead of us. That’s the only way to remain in contention for the title,” he added.
