Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club head coach Abdul Karim Zito has admitted that playing Bibiani Gold Stars away from home increases the level of difficulty for his team to grab a win.
He said this in the lead up to the crunch game scheduled for Sunday, May 25 at 15:00 GMT at Gold Stars’ Dun’s Park that has fourth ranked Kotoko take on second ranked Gold Stars in a straight battle for either club to stay in contention to win the 2024-2025 Ghana Premier League title.
Since taking over head coaching duties at Kotoko, the Porcupine Warriors have two wins in three league games in a run that includes a goalless draw against arch rivals Accra Hearts of Oak.
Speaking in a pre-game interview with Kotoko media, Zito admitted that beating Gold Stars in Bibiani is a difficult task.
“The approach will be very serious but we should admit it; we are going to meet one of the best teams in the league on Sunday.”
