The Black Stars delivered a dominant performance at the GTech Community Stadium, showcasing their attacking depth and clinical finishing to comfortably dispatch the Caribbean side.

Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew opened the scoring early in the first half, calmly slotting home after a neat build-up play. The opener settled any early nerves and set the tone for the rest of the match.

Razak Simpson, who impressed with his runs down the flank, doubled Ghana’s lead before the break with a powerful header that left the Trinidadian goalkeeper with no chance.

Ghana continued their relentless attack in the second half. Young striker Mohammed Fusenni Gadafi marked his Unity Cup debut with a fine finish after a clever through ball from the midfield.

The fourth and final goal came courtesy of Lawrence Agyekum, who fired in from outside the box to cap off an outstanding individual and team performance.
The result ensures that Ghana finishes third in the four-nation tournament, bouncing back strongly after their semi-final loss and giving coach Otto Addo plenty of positives moving forward.

This comprehensive victory also highlights the depth and promise in Ghana’s squad, especially with several young players stepping up to deliver when it mattered most.
