2025 Champion of Champions tie confirmed for August 31

Ghana Premier League winners Bibiani GoldStars will face FA Cup champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the 2025 Champions of champions clash, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced.

The one-off tie, scheduled for Sunday, August 31, 2025, will serve as the curtain raiser to the 2025/26 Ghanaian topflight football season.

In line with Article 9 of the Ghana Premier League Regulations, the Champion of Champions pits the league winners against the FA Cup holders to determine the season’s first silverware.

The Champion of Champions fixture offers a glimpse into the season ahead, setting the tone for rivalries and form.
