Domesticsportsgh.com understands five or more coaches have already expressed interest in the vacant Basake Holy Stars coaching position after Abdulai Gazale’s resignation.
Latest in list of the applicant is the former Nzema Kotoko coach Christian Nortey Lokko who on Wednesday submitted his CV’s for the vacant Holy Stars position.

Basake Holy Stars are in hunt for a new coach ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Football Season which kicks start in September 12.
Christian Nortey Lokko had previous technical experience at Akosombo Crystal Palace, King Faisal, Bechem United and Skyy FC and comes in with vast experience on the local terrain.
The experienced tactician guided Nzema Kotoko team to the finals of 2019 Normalization Special Cup Tier 2 Competition which they eventually lost to Ashantigold SC by 1-0 at Cape Coast Sports Stadium.

He was voted the best coach in 2019 Nzema Sports Awards organized by Domestic Sports Ghana and Danenz Biz Grow Consult.
