Mbappé Sends Message to Pogba
Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has shown public support for Paul Pogba, who is set to return to professional football after signing a two-year deal with AS Monaco.
Pogba, 32, had been sidelined due to a four-year doping ban that was later reduced to 18 months. He was cleared to return to the pitch in March 2025.
The former Manchester United and Juventus midfielder has now reached an agreement with Monaco that will keep him at the Ligue 1 club until June 2027. He is expected to undergo his medical in the coming days, with the final details of his contract to be finalized this week.
In a post on his Instagram story, Mbappé shared a message of encouragement for Pogba’s comeback, writing:
“Pogback. Daghe Munegu” — a Monegasque chant meaning “Let’s go, Monaco.”
Pogba will be aiming to impress at Monaco next season, as he eyes a return to France’s national team squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
