Rwandan club eye 2024/25 GPL top scorer Stephen Amankona

Rwandan club Rayon Sports has set its sight on Berekum Chelsea goal poacher Stephen Amankona as they aim to bolster their squad for the upcoming Rwandan Premier League Season ( RPL) in 2025/26.

Amankona, who is currently a target for Accra Hearts of Oak, was the leading top scorer in the just ended season with Berekum Chelsea.

He made a significant impact with Berekum Chelsea scoring 15 goals in 27 matches to help Chelsea secure an 12th-place finish despite their inconsistent performances in the early stages.

According to reports gathered by Mo TV Sports, Rayon Sports have contacted Berekum Chelsea for the services of their key player.

However, Berekum Chelsea have reportedly informed the Rwandan based club to pay $100,000 for the player.

Rayon, eager to strengthen their squad for the Continental challenge, has identified Stephen Amankona as potential target, recognizing his talent and goal-scoring prowess.
