Under the Theme: Justice for Africans and People of African Descent Through Reparations.
The African Union Anti- Corruption Day (AUACD), Observed every July 11, highlights the continents commitment to fighting corruption under the 2003 AU convention. It serves as a reminder to raise awareness, reflect on progress and strengthen anti- corruption efforts.

This year education was carried out at Axim Roman Catholic Junior High School and Axim Girls Senior High School. Members of the local Accountability Network, during the conversation insist students should kindly resist from any form of corruption to avoid future implications. This education or initiative seeks to empower young people to take action against corruption by promoting Whistleblowing.

Members of the LANet continue to let the young students know where to report corruption cases since there’s the Witness Protection Act 2018(Act975) which provides protection for individuals who are exposed to danger due to their roles as witness of corruption.

Some of the students speaking to the media, express their willingness and what they can do as young people to report any corruption cases in other to help our communities, countries and Africa at large.

They also acknowledge where to report corruption cases to, some are: Court, Police Department, OSP, EOCO, CHRAJ, Traditional leaders etc.
As a good citizen, we should abstain from corrupt practices and ensure discipline.
