The Youth of Nzema together with Municipal Youth Parliament has condemned the false and malicious allegations filed by one Micheal Benziecie against Nzema based Mining firm Adamus Resources Limited.
In a brief press conference on Wednesday, one of the Youth leaders in the area, Jonas Kabutey has condemned the claims that were filed against the Chief Executive officer of Adamus Resources Limited, Madam Angela List.
According to the alleged allegations by Micheal Benziecie, Madam Angela List and one Martin Kwaku Ayisi, CEO of Minerals Commission and Rebecca Donkor engaged in fraudulent conduct or violated Ghana’s mining regulations.
Meanwhile, the Chief Executive officer of the mining firm has boldly described the allegations as false and malicious just to tarnish the image of the company.
“These baseless claims… are part of a broader smear campaign intended to distract from the illegal activities of the complainant,” she asserted.
According to Rth Honorable Jonas Kabutey in an exclusive interview earlier today, he said, the above mentioned person ” Micheal Benziecie” is just doing this to damage the reputation of the company which is feeding the entire Youth with countless employment.
” Look, Micheal Benziecie, we know you, we are warning you to stop your game plan, We know someone is behind what you are doing, but let me assure you, We the youth of Nzema is satisfied with what Adamus is doing for us, giving us an countless employment and helping us through their corporate social responsibility, and we we are ready to fight and protect the firm that is giving us our daily bread, enough is enough stop your game plan” Kabutey warned.

Meanwhile, Madam Angela List has also revealed that Benziecie, the guy in questioned has been conducting unauthorized and unlicensed operations within Adamus Resource’s concession until a recent crackdown by state personnel.
The eloquent leader also revealed that Benziecie activities have caused significant environmental and operational damage and calling for a full investigation of the case filed against her by Micheal Benziecie.
However, the youth of Nzema have openly declared their support and ready to protect the firm in all angles.
Adamus Resources, a major player in Ghana’s gold mining sector, says it operates strictly within the bounds of the Minerals and Mining Act, 2006 (Act 703), and the Environmental Protection Agency Act, 1994 (Act 490).
Madam List has also dismissed any notion of her company enabling illegal mining or soliciting payments as “deeply offensive and entirely untrue.”
Calling for a full investigation, the CEO said she welcomes EOCO’s intervention to expose what she termed, adding that the statement is issued without prejudice to her legal rights and defences.
