The Youth of Nzema led by Jonas Kabutey has given one month of ultimatum to Micheal Benziecie, a small scale miner and businessman to reclaim the destroyed land of the area.
The person in question filed a malicious allegations against Nzema based Mining firm Adamus Resources limited claiming the company top authority are engaging in fraudulent conduct or violated Ghana’s mining regulations.
Meanwhile, the company has boldly described the allegations as false and malicious.
In an exclusive interview with the media, Jonas Kabutey said, the youth of Nzema has given a strong warning to Micheal Benziecie to do the needful.
” Micheal Benziecie’s mining firm has really destroyed our lands which affected our water bodies and refused to reclaim them.” We are pleading with Government, EOCO, Mineral Commission to compel him for further interrogation, We are also giving him a month ultimatum to do the needful else the youth will strike against him, because we didn’t get benefit as a youth through his mining firm, it was only Adamus Resources who have been giving job opportunities to over 5,000 youth, so we won’t sit down for him to tarnish the image of the company, enough is enough, Kabutey warned.

” Water bodies around Akanko, Aluku, Gwira have all been destroyed by his firm and it is affecting our health too”, he added.
