What is Adesa Production Limited

Adesa Productions Limited (APL) is a notable production company based in Ghana, recognized for creating popular television shows such as “Date Rush,” “Talented Kids,” “Ghana’s Most Beautiful,” “Sharks,” and “TV3 Mentor.”

The company was established in August 2014, functioning as the production branch of the Media General Group.

The company specializes in content creation for various platforms, offering a wide range of services, including content strategy, television and film production, commercials, and event management. APL is particularly well-regarded for its work in reality TV and talent shows, demonstrating its expertise in the entertainment sector.

Recently, APL announced a partnership with the National Theatre, which promises to enhance their upcoming season. In addition to production, the company has ventured into brand and talent management, using its seasoned team to help clients develop their brands and effectively manage talent.

With a solid reputation in the Ghanaian entertainment industry, APL continues to play a significant role in the success of numerous shows and events.

New Role with Ghana Football and Ministry of Sports and Recreation

GFA, Sports Ministry partner with Adesa Productions to broadcast Ghana Premier League matches

The Ghana Football Association (GFA), in partnership with the Ministry of Sports and Recreation, has officially launched a new broadcasting deal with Adesa Productions, aimed at elevating the media profile and visibility of the Ghana Premier League (GPL).

The announcement was made during a high-profile unveiling ceremony at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra, attended by key stakeholders in Ghanaian football.

Former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah and Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) President John Ansah were among the notable personalities present at the event.

Under this groundbreaking arrangement, Adesa Productions will handle the production and broadcast of Ghana Premier League matches.

The deal guarantees three live games every weekend, giving fans regular access to top-tier domestic football. Furthermore, all 18 league matches each round will be repackaged into highlight shows, ensuring supporters never miss the key moments of each fixture.Sports accessories

Speaking at the launch, key government officials reaffirmed their support for the initiative. Majority Leader in Parliament and MP for Bawku Central, Mahama Ayariga, pledged Parliament’s backing for the GFA’s efforts to boost the local game:

“We will not hesitate to support you as parliamentarians,” he assured.

Minister of Youth and Sports, Kofi Adams, also applauded the collaborative efforts that led to the deal, stating:Sports accessories.

“Mahama Ayariga makes my work easier as a Sports Minister.”

Adesa Productions partners with GFA / Sports Ministry to broadcast Ghana Premier League matches.

In a significant development for the league’s financial structure, the GFA confirmed that every club in the 18-team league will receive financial support, regardless of their final position on the league table; a move expected to improve competitiveness and sustainability across board.

The partnership with Adesa Productions marks a turning point in the GFA’s long-term strategy to modernise Ghanaian football and grow its fanbase both locally and internationally.
