The Ghana Football Association (GFA), in partnership with the Ministry of Sports and Recreation, has officially launched a new broadcasting deal with Adesa Productions, aimed at elevating the media profile and visibility of the Ghana Premier League (GPL).
The announcement was made during a high-profile unveiling ceremony at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra, attended by key stakeholders in Ghanaian football.
Former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah and Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) President John Ansah were among the notable personalities present at the event.
Under this groundbreaking arrangement, Adesa Productions will handle the production and broadcast of Ghana Premier League matches.
The deal guarantees three live games every weekend, giving fans regular access to top-tier domestic football. Furthermore, all 18 league matches each round will be repackaged into highlight shows, ensuring supporters never miss the key moments of each fixture.Sports accessories
Speaking at the launch, key government officials reaffirmed their support for the initiative. Majority Leader in Parliament and MP for Bawku Central, Mahama Ayariga, pledged Parliament’s backing for the GFA’s efforts to boost the local game:
