The male individual arrested in connection to the alleged racial abuse directed at Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo has been banned from all football stadiums in the United Kingdom.
This comes in the wake of ongoing investigations into the racial incident that took place in the first half of AFC Bournemouth’s game against Liverpool FC in the season opener of the 2025-2026 English Premier League.
Semenyo recovered from the incident to score twice in Bournemouth’s 4-2 loss to the defending champions at Anfield but the game was marred by the 47 year old individual’s behaviour who was arrested after the game.
He was subsequently granted conditional bail and one condition listed in the bail per information reaching Citi Sports is a total ban from attending every football stadium in the UK.
Semenyo has received a ton of support after the incident including Liverpool captain Virgil Van Dijk and FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
The 25 year old Black Stars player scored 11 league goals last season for Bournemouth prior to signing a contract extension with the Cherries.
