Heart of Lions have reached an agreement with FC Samartex for the signing of striker Michael Ephson, with personal terms already settled between the player and the club.
Ephson, who featured for Samartex last season, is now set to put pen to paper and officially join Lions as their new attacking option ahead of the upcoming Ghana Premier League season.
The move comes as part of Heart of Lions’ strategy to strengthen their frontline after struggling for consistency in front of goal last season.
Ephson’s pace, strength, and eye for goal are expected to provide a significant boost to the Kpando-based side as they aim for a stronger showing in the topflight.
Club sources reveal that the player is already in high spirits about the transfer and eager to make an impact with his new team. Once the formalities are completed, Ephson will be unveiled as the new Heart of Lions striker.
This signing underlines Lions’ ambition to be more competitive in the Ghana Premier League, with the management determined to give the technical team the firepower needed to challenge opponents in the new campaign.
