Led by head coach, James Kwesi Appiah, Sudan beat Algeria 4-2 in a penalty shootout to qualify to the semifinals of the continental championship eligible to only players who compete in their national football leagues.
The game ended tied at 1-1 at the end of regulation time and extra time and in the penalty shootout, Sudan goalkeeper Mohamed El Nour saved two penalty attempts to hand his team the stunning win. El Nour unsurprisingly, was named as the Man of the Match.Best video game consoles
Sudan are yet to lose a game in the tournament despite dealing with a civil war in the country that forced the team to assemble only four days to the start of the competition.
Morocco take on defending champions Senegal in the other semifinal on August 26 at 17:30 GMT.
