Ghana international Kwasi Sibo has admitted the demands of Spain’s top flight are tough but says he remains determined to one day in the Uefa champions League.
The 26-year old midfielder, who helped Real Oviedo secure promotion last season, has quickly established himself as a key figure for the club in their debut La Liga campaign.
“It’s tough in La Liga, but I like it there because they treat me like a king”, Sibo told Graphic Sports in an interview.
“We are working hard to stay up, but one of my biggest ambitions is to play in the Uefa Champions League.
Sibo, who made his Black Stars debut in June by starting alongside Thomas Partey in Ghana’s 1-0 World Cup qualifying win over Mali, says he is driven by self belief.
“Everything happens for a reason, and I believe the power to change things,” he added.
Kwasi Sibo will be hoping for a spot once again in Otto Addo’s Black Stars for the final hurdle of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers
