Chelsea winger Estevao is on cloud nine after playing a key role in the London side’s hammering of FC Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues delivered an impressive performance in a 3-0 win over the Spanish side in the UEFA Champions League group phase game.
Barca forward Ferran Torres missed a big chance in the early minutes of the game and his side got punished when teammate Jules Kounde inadvertently bundled the ball into his goal in the 27th minute off a well worked goal involving Marc Cucurella.
Estevao and substitute Liam Delap scored in the 55th and 73rd minute for Chelsea respectively after Barca captain on the night, Ronald Araujo, got shown a red card in the 44th minute.
Speaking to Amazon Prime after the big win, Brazilian winger Estevao described his goal as the best moment of his career thus far.
I don’t really have any words to sum up how I’m feeling right now. It really was the perfect night. Onwards and upwards from here. It was such a special moment for me in my career. I hope to score many more. It was definitely the best moment of my career so far” Estevao said.
