Abedi Pele chooses Kofi Kinaata as his favourite in Ghana

Black Stars legend  Abedi Pele has disclosed that he enjoys listening to rapper Kofi Kinaata, insisting he is his favourite in the country now.

Kinaata impressed the three time African player of the year at an event in the West Region and has since earned a place in the ex-Marseille star’s heart.

“The guy from Takoradi, Kofi Kinaata, is my favourite Ghanaian musician. That’s my guy,” he told GTV Sports Plus when asked to name his favourite musician.

“You know, I own part of Izwe Savings & Loans and our CEO had a party and invited us. Kofi Kinaata came and performed live in front of me. It was amazing. That was the day I said, ‘this is the guy!’” he revealed.

Kofi Kinaata is one of the leading musical acts in the country, having won several top awards and has in the past featured on a song with another legend, Asamoah Gyan.
