Totteham Hotspurs target Tariq Lamptey of Brighton Albion
Tariq Lamptey, according to Graham Roberts, would be a good target for Tottenham Hotspur this summer as they look for a new right-back.
The club appears to be preparing for the possible departure of Serge Aurier, who has stated that he wishes to take on a new challenge this summer.
Matt Doherty had a difficult season as well, eventually falling out of favor with Jose Mourinho following his arrival from Wolves.
In total, he made 13 Premier League starts, with a number of his performances overshadowed by mistakes.
Lamptey has battled with injuries this season, missing most of the season with a hamstring injury, though he has appeared in all nine of the club’s first nine games.
Speaking exclusively to This Is Futbol, Roberts said: “I like the lad, Lamptey, at Brighton, but I want somebody that can defend and not give silly free-kicks away and help his two centre-halves.”
