King Faisal: Players rescind decision not to train ahead of Kotoko game
King Faisal players have rescinded their decision not train following the intervention of club President, Alhaji Grusah.
Earlier report in the local media suggested that players of the Kumasi based club have boycotted training over unpaid salaries and bonuses.
The reports further indicate that the players have not been paid in the last two months leading to their resistance to training.
But according to team captain, Kwame Peprah, they have rescinded their decision to train for the upcoming game against Asante Kotoko.
“Yes, we met us players and decided not to train but after consultations and intervention from the club President, Alhaji Grusah, we have rescinded our earlier decision to train.” He told Kumasi FM.
“We are currently at the training grounds, getting ready for Saturday’s game against Asante Kotoko which we hope and pray for a good result.” He ended.
