Newly promoted Egyptian Premier League side Pharco FC are reportedly considering signing Dani Alves from Sao Paulo, according to KingFut.

Pharco is a multinational company in Egypt, Middle East, and Africa, and the organisation has worked with Lionel Messi and Alves in the past, in campaigns aimed at combating the scourge of Hepatitis C.

Club chairman Sherine Helmy recently discussed the possibility of initiating negotiations to potentially bring the veteran Selecao defender to the African continent.

“We have contracts with Dani Alves and Lionel Messi as part of the campaign for Hepatitis C treatment in their countries,” Helmy told broadcaster Al-Hadath Al-Youm.

“But if we can include Dani Alves to the team next season, we will do so.

“My son spoke with Dani Alves two years ago and told him how he could leave Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain and move to Sao Paulo.

“He told him that he had dreamed of playing for Sao Paulo since he was eight years old, and now he would like to go back to his country and fulfil his dream.

“Dani Alves has won the most tournaments in the world.

“God willing, we will use him to add value to the team, but we will preserve the backbone of the team that contributed to our promotion to the Egyptian Premier League.”
