A Mubarak Wakaso goal gave the Black Stars a 1-0 lead at half-time in their game against Ethiopia.
The Black Stars were the dominant side in the first 45 minutes but struggled to create clear-cut opportunities to trouble the Ethiopian goalkeeper.
Wakaso took the matter into his own hands and let fly from about 40 yards out.
The shot dipped and flew through the Ethiopian keeper, Shamko’s hands and legs into the back of the net.
It was a shocking piece of goalkeeping but the Ghanaians will feel it was the least they deserved after the dominant first half.
