NRFA WOMEN’S DIVISON LEAGUE : FC Savannah emerge champions of Northern Regional Women’s Division One League
FC Savannah has sealed their position as champions of the Northern regional division one league for the 2021 season with a game remaining.
The defending champions topped the league with 46 points after beating Yoo ladies 0-3 on Wednesday in match day 17 of the Women’s division one league.
The “fire ladies” despite having a game at hand are winners of the league with the outcome of the last game being inconsequential to their qualification to the Middle League.

This important success was achieved by the new technical team lead by Sulemana Sachibu, also known as Capito in the football fraternity within the region.
FC Savannah have been flying high in the competition this year, beating their contenders Bagabaga Ladies home and away and also winning a return league against Tamale Super Ladies at home.
The champions have recorded superb outings, recording 15 wins, lost 1 and drawn 1 so far, scoring 53 goals and conceding 8 goals in 17 games.
They are aiming of making a history by winning the Middle League.
The Middle League will bring six clubs from across the Northern Zone and will be held in Techiman.
