Karela United have snapped up goalkeeper Rashid Seidu in a free-agent deal, Domesticsportsgh.com can authoritatively confirm.
The 25-year-old started last season with Inter Allies but could not complete it as his contract expired midway.
The young goalkeeper is expected to add more options to coach Kobi-Mensah solid squad.
He combined 2160 minutes of action from 24 appearances in the Ghana Premier League before his exit from the ‘Eleven Is To One’ who ended up suffering relegation.
Seidu is known for his agility and command in between the posts.
He previously turned out for the youth side of Asante Kotoko before moving on to Bechem United and later Wa All Stars (now Legon Cities).
The shot-stopper had a stint with AS Douanes in Niger before returning home to sign for Inter Allies in May 2020.
Rashid Seidu was a member of the Ghana U-23 – the Black Meteors – squad at the 2015 African Games in Brazzaville.
He’s currently part of Karela United team preparing for the Ghana Premier League start this month.
