Aya Community Centre, a recreational centre located at Ampain in the Elembelle District of the Western Region has been selected to host this year’s Western Region Volley Ball Club championship, Domesticsportsgh.com can report.
The event was originally scheduled to be hosted in Tarkwa but the organisers have decided to postpone the date and venue.
The change of this year’s venue is to enable the various zones get opportunity to experience the prestigious event and also aimed at selecting a champion in both the male and female categories to represent the region in the National Volleyball championship slated for Accra next year.
This will be first time the championship is being hosted on Nzema soil since it’s inception.
The new date of the main event will be communicated soon according to the organizers.
