Karela United Goalkeeper, Felix Kyei was overjoyed after making his debut appearance in the club’s jersey at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park.
The 18-year old kept the post in Karela’s 1-1draw against Aduana Stars in the opening fixture of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The youngster had a decent debut for the Pride and Passions despite conceding a goal from Emmanuel Gyamfi.
Speaking exclusively to Domesticsportsgh.com, he said his is extremely happy with his maiden show for the Passioners.
“It was great opportunity for me and I was very happy when asked to start the match” said Felix Kyei.
“Asked how the feeling was, I was elated because as a player I train for matches so it was cool for me”
Kyei returned to Karela United after ending a 6-months loan spell with Proud United (Jomoro United) after the 2020-21 season.
