Karela United talisman Abdul Aziz Dogo is a major doubt ahead of their Ghana Premier League clash with AshantiGold on Saturday.
The new number 10 is reported to have injured his groin when Karela United engaged Aduana Stars in the week one of the Ghana Premier League game played on Sunday at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park.
However, according to the head coach, Bismark Kobi-Mensah, he revealed that, further diagnosis would be administered on the player to find out if he stands any chance of playing a part in the Saturday’s GPL week 2 encounter against AshantiGold at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium.
“ Aziz Dogo has not returned to training since Monday, we are studying his case and see whether he will be available on time for AshantiGold clash” he told Domesticsportsgh.com in an exclusive interview.
“I can’t tell for now whether he will play or not, but let’s wait for the better, monitoring is what we’re doing now” he added.
Karela United are already without defender Augustine Randolf who has been ruled out for 4-weeks due to knee injury.
Karela United are 10th on the league log with one point after matchday one.
