Karela United midfielder Humin Mohammed Dafie netted his debut goal of the season as the Passioners held AshantiGold SC to a pulsating 1-1 draw at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium on Saturday.
Dafie produced a moment of sheer brilliance on the 35th minute mark with a long-range effort that left goalkeeper Kofi Mensah powerless in goal to put the visiting team in front.
Isaac Opoku Agyemang equalized for Ashgold on the 40th minute from the spot.
Karela United were resolute at the back and produced quality defending and remained tactically discipline.
