Accra Lions FC coach, Andreas Rainer Kraft says his side just needs to quickly come to terms with playing to match the standards required in the Ghana Premier League (GPL).
The young but talented Lions squad has so far received a rude welcome to topflight football after having to fight back to hold Elmina Sharks to a 1-1 draw in their opening match and then losing 3-1 to Great Olympics on match-day two.
In both games, Lions showed quality but were profligate up front while conceding through some horrible goalkeeping mistakes.
“We don’t have a problem. We only need to cut down on the mistakes and score more goals.
“We are coming from Division One and we have to learn and adapt quickly,” said Rainer Kraft.
“…It’s not about tactics, or running, or ball possession, but making fewer mistakes,” he added.
Accra Lions are second from bottom of the 2021/22 GPL standings after two games. They have scored two and conceded four goals.
