SAFA is counting on FIFA reversing its 2022 FIFA World Cup loss to Ghana at the Cape Coast Stadium.
The South Africans after the game have made a series of wild allegations from distance to the Cape Coast Stadium to their team getting intimidated.
The wild allegations are been spearheaded by Danny Jordaan, supported by coach Hugo Broos, SAFA CEO Tebogo Motlanthe, and team captain Williams.
The national association is now hoping that FIFA will order a rematch, as they did four years ago in a match between Bafana Bafana and Senegal, when Ghana referee Joseph Lamptey was found guilty of match manipulation after making judgments on favor of Asian betting syndicates.
“The match officials decided the game which is not what is supposed to happen so, we, as the association have decided that we will be writing to both CAF and FIFA to investigate how the game was handled and secondly to challenge some of these decisions.
