Accra Lions appoint Ibrahim Tanko as new Sporting Director

Ghana Premier League side Accra Lions have announced the appointment of Ibrahim Tanko as the Sporting Director of the Club.

Tanko has been tasked to shape the activities of the senior team while giving a laser-guided focus to the methods of the club’s academy.

A statement on the club’s Facebook page read,

Accra Lions Football Club is delighted to announce Ibrahim Tanko as the new Sporting Director of the club. Tanko, who holds a UEFA License A coaching certificate, has agreed a contract and will start work immediately in the new role created to reflect the future ambitions of the club.
